A properly sharpened chef’s knife and the right techniques will make your work in the kitchen easier, faster and safer. In this hands-on class, Chef Tim Forringer will cover how to cut, slice, chop, mince, plus some advanced techniques to up your kitchen game. Everyone is encouraged to bring their kitchen knives to use during the class. We’ll also have several knives available for use during the class. Attendees will receive 10% off any knife purchased that evening.
Chef Tim will use the cut vegetables to prepare a popular Korean noodle dish called Japchae for everyone to enjoy.
Chef Tim Forringer is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He’s honed his craft at esteemed restaurants, including Union Square Cafe, The Equinox Hotel and Gigi’s Trattoria. Time specializes in cooking Italian, Korean, and Austrian cuisines. He especially enjoys sharing his knowledge about different cuisines and cooking techniques with home cooks.
