Celebrate mothers and families with a community free day at OLANA on Mother’s Day sponsored by CMH. The event is the second year in row CMH has sponsored this unique day of free access to the public. Olana will host continuous touring access to Olana from 10-4pm (with a closed hour at lunch from 12:30-1:30). The first 500 people to register will be able to tour Olana for free. Visitors can also explore the exterior of OLANA on free Historic Landscape Walking Tours every hour on the hour from 10-4pm as well (about 1.5 miles with an educator). Advanced reservations are highly recommended for house and landscape tours. In addition, there will be artful activities taking place around the property – with performances by the Florestan String Quartet and John Farrell, as well as art-making activities like Zentangle and Mom & Me Jewelry Making, and a birding hike! Special discounts offered at the Museum Store all day long for moms. Pack a picnic, visit Olana’s Museum Store for snacks, bring lawn chairs and plan to inspire and celebrate all things maternal with us! Check www.olana.org/calendar for the full schedule of the event.
