As part of her “Pixels and Particulates” exhibition, artist Stephanie Bernheim returns to Hudson Hall’s newly restored Common Council Room at 4pm on Saturday, April 21 to conduct a lighting ceremony in her re-staged environmental installation, “Particulates: Tower of Tires,” 2003 – a project celebrating the community of Hudson’s successful battle against the proposed expansion of the St Lawrence Cement plant.
On view through May 13, 2018 in Hudson Hall’s Center Hall Gallery, Stephanie Bernheim’s current work, “Pixels,” embraces the use of everyday technology at the intersection of photography and painting. The exhibition follows the release of a new hardbound art book, “Stephanie Bernheim: From Paint to Pixels” (FoliArt Publishers, 2017). For more information, visit hudsonhall.org.
