Offering world class event facilities in a stunning historic landmark327 Warren Street, Hudson, NY 12534
From its founding in 1855 until the building was abandoned in 1962, the Hudson Opera House provided a space for some of the most exciting cultural, social and political events of the day. The great Hudson River School showed their paintings here, Brete Harte read his poems, Ralph Waldo Emerson gave a talk about “Social Aims” and Susan B. Anthony visited thrice, lecturing to abolish slavery and rallying the cry for women’s suffrage. In 1914, Teddy Roosevelt even regaled a crowd with his adventures in Africa.
With restoration of our magnificent performance hall now complete, residents, visitors, businesses, and community groups are invited to host their own special event in this historic national treasure.
