Established in 2010, American Glory Restaurant is a contemporary American restaurant voted one of the Hudson Valley’s Top Restaurants, and the Number One Restaurant in Columbia County by Hudson Valley Magazine readers. The restaurant is on Warren Street in historic Hudson and housed in meticulously restored historic firehouse, circa 1794.
The house ambiance is redbrick, dark wood, with Edison lights, black & white photos of American icons, combined with the sounds of handpicked playlists of really good music- thus making the house vibe casual, easy going, and inviting to all. Upon entering, you will immediately be overwhelmed with the aromas of mouthwatering food and smoked meats. Our culinary team specializes in what we call, “the bounty of America’s melting pot.”
They reinvent ethnic comfort food recipes brought to America by our ancestors, with newly creative dishes from, Italy, England , Spain, Franc, Greece, Creole and Asia- together with many Southern specialties, with a strong affinity to fire roasted, and wood smoked meats- thus making American Glory a favorite for dry-rubbed wood smoked BBQ.
Also offering an amazing beverage program consisting of local NYS craft brews, ciders, and an abundance of local artisan libations, together with the area’s largest fine brown whiskey selection: well over 100 bottles.
The use of local ingredients, fresh fish, steak, chops, farm fresh vegetables, fire and smoke, together with outstanding beverages, great music, and the sounds of roaring laughter tumbling through the restaurant, all makes American Glory the outstanding restaurant it is today.
