Atelier Bianca

Bianca De Pietro is the designer behind ATELIER BIANCA. Hailing from New York City, De Pietro grew up in an artistic household where creativity was encouraged. Inspired by Vogue Italia and Collezioni magazines given to her by her Grandmother, De Pietro started creating and designing at a young age. She attended Performing Arts school in Manhattan where her love for Fashion blended with theatrical and performance art.

A need for balance brought her to Philadelphia University to study Fashion Design with a concentration in Women’s Wear: Avant Garde & Couture Sewing while also learning the business side of Fashion. Additionally, she has studied at Accademia Italiana in Florence Italy focusing on tailoring techniques and eveningwear construction and Central Saint Martins in London for Innovative Pattern Cutting.

In 2013, De Pietro opened Toile, Custom Atelier in Philadelphia selling ready to wear and custom garments made exclusively by independent designers. Currently featuring over 40 designers and makers including De Pietros own ready to wear line- Bianca Rachele. In addition to the store, Toile offers custom evening and bridal at the Atelier. Working with brides daily, De Pietro noticed a demand for a more customizable approach to Bridal Design that is accessible to customers. She opened a private design and production studio where she meticulously created her Custom Bridal Collection: Atelier Bianca – Sposa.
