Flowerkraut was established in July 2014 by floral designer Mairead Travins, and her sauerkraut-making husband, Seth Travins – hence the unusual combination! Flowerkraut is an airy, light-filled shop full of surprising ideas and beautiful handmade goods, centered around flowers and plants of all shapes and sizes. We sell succulents, cacti, airplants, begonias, and many other houseplants, alongside lots of handmade ceramics, candles, paper goods, plant tools, and other gift items. As well as retail, Flowerkraut provides full floristry services, utilizing naturalistic floral design and seasonal, locally grown (where possible) flowers to create bouquets, arrangements, deliveries, weddings and events. Last but not least, you can find all Sauerkraut Seth’s products here, including various sauerkrauts, kim chee and sour pickles – as well as a variety of hot sauces made by our good friends at Poor Devil Pepper Company.
