The Hendrick Hudson Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is an all-women service organization founded in 1896. The chapter owns and operates the Historic Robert Jenkins House, featuring its historical and genealogical library and museum. The house is open regularly for tours and for research by appointment, free of charge. The chapter’s educational programs are offered throughout the year for the public, both at the house and by Zoom, also free of charge. Member services to the community include literacy support, patriotic activities, veterans services, school and adult educational programs, and many more.
