Marine Penvern, designer and artist, has been making transformative apparel since her childhood years growing up on a centuries-old manor in Brittany, France.
With roots both Celtic and Parisian bohemian, Penvern’s styles have away of seaming historical and contemporary elements, achieving a look that is timeless and timely.
Using select designer fabrics, including rich cottons, wools and silks, Marine Penvern creates looks that evoke the fantasy of magical realms as much as they embody urban comfort, modernity, individual style and self-confidence.
After having run an acclaimed atelier out of Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Penvern has restructured her practice in Hudson, New York as a maker of clothing to offer a range of made-to-order Prêt-à-porter and one-of-a-kind couture.
Each piece uniquely expresses Penvern’s playful vision and fearless attitude, and is styled to the unique necessities of the wearer.
